From what your saying and reports of other people having the same issue after a little over a year it sure seems like there is an issue with the batteries in these units.
They just dont seem to last very long. Probably even less in hot climates.
Amcrest should at least offer replacement batteries.

Re: AD410 works fine just except when accepting call
Hi, I do have a mechanical chime. Should I remove the linked mechanical chime and see if the call connects? Do I have to factory reset to unlink the mechanical chime? This used to work fine, so now I'm thinking that it may be the internal battery in the 410. Is it replaceable, or do I need to buy a ...

Re: AD410 works fine just except when accepting call
Just to also add that I can go into live view and turn on the mic and sound and 2 way audio and video and everything works fine.
The only thing that doesn't work is when you push the button and try to connect to the call. It goes to 99% and fails everytime with network error.

Re: Secure the ad410
Ok, I see, So I was wrong. Only 1 Mounting plate and 2 other back plates.. Sorry i was wrong thinking that the other plates was where it mounts, that is what you place before the center plate then the doorbell. So because it is plastic I wonder if there is an issue then with the bottom of the plate...

Re: Secure the ad410
thanks again Revo, I mean its not loose or anything like that, but if i apply a little force it kind of just slides up and off without too much effort. I also noticed on the mounting plate there is a tiny little switch type thing on it under the bottom bracket part which you can push to the right an...

you dont even need the key.. the thing just slides up and off. this is the one area they blew it with the doorbell. they need to secure it a little better.
