Amcrest Smart Home verifcation

Hello,

I’ve tried in vain to setup my AD410 for the past 24 hours. I need to verify my email with the Smart Home app before I can configure the device, but I’ve tried repeatedly with four different emails and cannot get a verification code. Obviously checking spam box, but can’t receive the verification code using gmail, icloud, or yahoo.

Anyone else having issues? I see issues like this reported a few years back, but I’d think that long resolved by now. I’ve always used the Amcrest Pro View to setup my POE cams without issue, but I’m stuck relying on the “Smart Home” app for the AD410.

Additionally, tried using the latest Smart Home app on both Android & iOS.

Your not alone. I do not have iOS to test but did try 3 different versions of android(15, 9, emulated on pc). my question to you is does the app work for your camera's you already set up?. This is my first Amcrest camera, so I cant do anything. If nothing is working then maybe my should just return it and buy another brand.

My POE cameras are ok as I can connect to them directly, but for the AD410 doorbell I need to create an account with Amcrest via their Smart Home App to pair the device. I have no other means to connect to it, unlike with the POE cameras that you can access directly.

I just got off with support and they indicated they are looking into the issue. Apparently there’s an issue on their servers. Until I can create an account, I’m unable to configure the AD410. They indicated that it should be resolved “soon”, but it’s been 3 days for me now.

To be more specific, I’ve only accessed the POE cameras via the device webpage. This is the first, and hopefully last, time I need to use the Amcrest Smart Home App. I just need to get the doorbell paired so I can connect it to my local surveillance setup. I have no intention of using any cloud services. Based on the issue I’m having, I’m assuming if you already have an account verified for the Smart Home App that you’d be ok. This is the first time I’ve needed an account.

Thanks for the reply. This is only my second camera(ASH47-w) first Amcrest, I went with it instead of a door bell cam so I can cover the driveway also. Hopefully they will fix it soon.

My problem is the same, I tried to nstall 02 new cameras model ASH43-W and I didn't sucess.
I have already installed amcrest home smart app, following informations from amcrest, but, I haven't received the code, I tried a lot of times with 3 diferentes e-mails.

Same here, I tried multiple emails multiple devices still cannot register no way to register online that I have found, camera ad110 is basically useless

There are some issues with SH at the moment, They are working on it.

Update, just got off the phone with support at 2:30 p.m. They are indeed aware and working on it, they said they have had multiple complaints coming in. Looks like the whole system might be down. They do not have a estimated time of completion and no work around, I was told we just have to wait.

Thank you by your update, I just send email with informations of my mobile phone and version amcrest smart home being used.

I just did another random verification code request - and success! Hooray!
