MicroSD Card
Hi. Just installed a ASH47-W outdoor security camera. Works good. I'd like to install a MicroSD, one big enough to load 24 hours. In case something happens at our facility overnight. Question(s). With video set at SD, how big a card should I get? After the card fills up, does the oldest video on the card get constantly overwritten? With the phone app, will I be able to view fast forward/backwards or go to the start/ending of the videos? Oh, can Surveillance Pro get to the card? Any advice is appreciated.
Re: MicroSD Card
At the setting it was setup with, I would get 4 days on my 64gb Micro SD card..
About ASP, I am not sure if it can get to the MicroSD I think it can but I don't use it anymore because it messes with my TIme so I removed it from my computer.. What I do remember on the devices that can work with ASP is there was a Local option and Device option for playback. So should be able to access it with ASP if ASP will display the camera.. I can't remember if it did the ASH47 or not. I know that I needed the ASH26 to be connected to an NVR to view or playback from NVR. But ASP wouldn't display live feed or playback.. Again I don't remember the 47 I think it displayed fine..

Re: MicroSD Card
Thanks for the reply. As long as I don't have to mess with the card most of the time. If we have a break-in, can I just unplug the camera and replace the card with an empty card? Or is there a "Safe to Remove Hardware" setting before removing the card?
Re: MicroSD Card
Some cameras have an Eject tab on the storage page. If it does then click that and the card is removed, however if you forget to pull it and the camera reboots then the card is active again..
Edit, Sorry yes you can just replace the card without worrying about clicking anything as long as camera is off.. Will need to be formatted if the card is new and not been used in the camera before..
