I have your IP8M-2496EB cams and want to add your doorbell and use the Amcrest Smart Home App ... however I understand then I can only use the Amcrest View Pro app when mixing the two camera types.
PLEASE INTEGRATE IP CAMS INTO THE SMART HOME APP.

hi @rb1 and welcome to the forum. i have raised a support ticket for amcrest to look into reinstating the ability to add ip cams in the smart home app for live view only. no eta but the feature was present in prior smart home releases.

it's been a year now, and when you resubmit the ticket, can you ask that the Smart Home App be given the ability to SAVE THE PASSWORD?
