A couple of questions

Looking at getting one of these systems and I have an instance where I will have to run more than 100 Ft of cable. Is there an extension available for these cables? Also, can these cables be surface mounted outside without being in a conduit? IOW, are they weatherproof? Thanks

Yes you can buy extension cables (and the BNC / power coupler to connect the two). But it is also important note that most cameras have a length limitation (for example some cameras have a 984 foot limitation) and that running very long cables can result in possible image corruption at very long lengths due to signal loss. Yes the cables are weather proof however one may want to tape up or enclose in a box where the cable connect to the camera connectors or when joining two cables together.

Thank you for the reply. No runs anywhere near 984 ft. Maybe 150 ft at most. What size hie needs to be drilled for the cable. Looks like maybe 1/2" ???
