ASH43-W Failed to Connect

I just unboxed a brand new ASH43 and I got the usual "username and password" not correct during setup. I did the factory reset and it appears to work but when I start a live view is shows "Failed to Connect". We've had this same issue on many of our Amcrest cameras (13!) but this one just isn't letting us get connected.

Any thoughts?

More info: I've done a factory reset on this three times and I get the same issue each time: Failed to Connect (in the android app). Not sure where to go from here other than to return it and get another brand.

Amcrest's identity problem strikes again! I was using the Amcrest Pro app instead of the "smart home" nannycam app. Ugh. All fixed.
