IP2M-851W wifi camera used as POE camera?

I have a IP2M-851W Wi-Fi camera that I would like to use as just a POE camera. Can this be done? Or does the Wi-Fi camera always have to be powered by the AC adapter, even if you have the camera connected to the NVR with ethernet cable? I want to do this because the Wi-Fi camera loses it's IP address every time the power flickers.

You would want to look for a 12v poe splitter. This will take your poe cable split out ethernet and convert 48/52v down to 12v that is plugged into your normal 12v power plug on camera. Short ethernet cord then plugs ethernet from splitter to camera completes system.
