Is the two-way audio included in the video recordings (IP2M-863EW-AI-V3)?

This V3 camera has a built-in mic - will this audio get recorded with any video recordings I make?

If it has built in mic and if your system has the Mic turned on in the Cameras settings to record in Main and or Sub channels then it should record there as setup..

Now I am not sure if you are trying to get it to work and have seen that page and the Mic and enabled for both streams but still won't record. Then it brings me to this?

I am not sure if it is related. Yet the other day setting up an older camera and was trying to get some audo to work. In my case it was camera with built in speaker and mic.. I had it enabled and I was not getting anything So I move it my local network and thought ok lets see what happens when I bring up on app, Come to find out it wasn't added, So I added it and after just adding the camera to the app the audio started to work.. I didn't do anything in settings after adding it to the app and audio just started working.. So wonder if there might be something like this to be the issue for your camera as well?

I don't see the audio option to switch AUDIO INPUT TYPE from LINEIN to BUILTIN MIC - only LINEIN is displayed, there is no other dropdown menu choice. The UPDATE menu says I have the latest version so it seems like my camera is missing the built-in mic. Is there anything else I should try before returning it?

Did you really get a V3? Does it have multi light setup or just IR on the front? Also looking at the manual it is showing for normal 863 so not to helpful in that it says not built in.. Then in the main page for the camera it does say that it has built in Speaker and Mic however for the V3 Stats page there is nothing about built in Mic or Speaker.. Does it have built in Alarm speaker? Can I see a picture of the box and or the camera?

The box says V3, it has the multi-lights below the lens and it has the alarm speaker above the lens. I ordered it directly from the Amcrest site because Amazon only had the V2 version.

Ok I know this is going to seem out there.. But something to try if you have not already.. First is this camera connected to your local area network? *Lan* if it is have you added this camera to the Amcrest View Pro 2 App?

I know this might not make sense but I have had some issues lately with some audio. After adding the camera to the AVP2 app the audio issue was solved? I know it sounds like way out there.. But something to try..

Outside of that, I don't see anywhere that it says in the Data sheet that it has built in mic or speaker? Even though main page on what looks like box data there is 2 ways audio with built in mic and speaker. But not first time I found something listed wrong in a camera listing.. Wish I had the camera to know more about what is going on and or how to help more.

Clearly says "built-in mic" on the box ...

Interesting did you happen to try adding the camera to AVP2? If on box then should be there.

I added it to AVP2 but when I click the speaker icon to listen to the microphone, I don't hear anything.

Can I see a picture of your WebUI for the camera.. At are where mine is showing in picture below? You can right click and open in new tab to see full sized image..
