Hello steamer ,
Camera losing time overlay issue when added to Cloud issue has been now fixed. When you add a new camera it should have the time stamp already. If you already have cams in cloud. please ensure the time overlay is enabled form camera web interface.
Overlay Settings not being saved
Re: Overlay Settings not being saved
its not just time overlay being lost. There is something wrong in the firmware. My time-stamp preferred way is day month year and it constantly resets. I have alerts disabled and they reappear out of the blue. Oh yes I do have the latest firmware on my cameras I do NOT use cloud. There is something definitely wrong in the firmware. The only issue that is the worst is the missing of MD clips. Can walk in front of camera it records me 1/2 way through room or totally misses me.

+1 for this issue.
I was wondering that some settings are lost (i.e. Date/Time Format, DST Settings!). When I logged in, I noticed there was an automatic reboot scheduled and it appears that at least the above mentioned settings get lost with a reboot.
Model: IP2M-841
Firmware is the latest available on the amcrest downloads. (2.420.AC00.17.R; 3/22/17).
NOT connected to any cloud.
For now I disabled the automatic reboot schedule, but I guess it's "on" by default for a purpose..?
