Push Notifications suddenly ceased on ALL my cameras?!!

I'm using the NV4108E-A2 NVR and (4) 5MP AI IP POE cameras. I believe I have 10 second pre-record and 15 seconds post record and 5 second anti-dither. The cat 5e is from my previous Swann setup and never checked if it was copper or CLAD. I'm just using the 2GB SSD that came in the NVR. Haven't added another drive yet. Maybe some of the delay too is my wifi isn't the best out in the garage and driveway without getting on the extender.

I had the event list open and refreshed it so it shows nothing old was in there. Then walked out into the driveway and it gave the driveway SMD notification. Then you can see it opens a clip from my deck. I then hit the live view button so that's why it reloaded the view and looked like it was loading twice. Then I went back to the events page and refreshed and clearly there's no deck recording there, just the one from the driveway. Then I played the driveway event and then erased it so the event list was empty. Then created another driveway event which when clicked on went back to the deck again.

Funny thing is I set my phone up the way I did it the first time so I could record it for here. It then took me 4 times erasing and reinstalling the NVR to get it to work correctly. I can tell when it's working right because it takes me to the event list when I click the notification. When it loads the clip directly then I know it's not right.

Oh wait, So you are saying that if it loads the clip directly from the event listing that it isn't working right? So as I said I don't normally use SMD so it is not something I know how it should work on my phone. Looking at a new event just loaded the last event I played before I left for a Dr Appt at 1430 and not the clip that I wanted to look at from the last of the event that has happened after i left and when i got back.. So is that what is going on, i know yours was showing you didn't have any in a list. Just wonder if it retains the listing. Now I don't have or have not noticed this on IVS but yeah not loading the item in the Notices area of my phone but loading the last event watched isn't right in my book..

I just started using AVP2 a few days ago due to AVP not working at all with SMD, so I don't know exactly what is right or not. Mine was stuck on the first event the phone ever stored. Didn't matter how many other clips I watched or what was in the event list. Sounds like yours is acting similar to what I was getting. I would rather it goes to the correct event immediately as it did in AVP, instead it goes to the event list, then click the camera then click the top event. It was much faster before.

When I got a push notification and hit the notification to open the app it would take me to an event from a different camera, and always the same old clip.

Thank you for your posts and YouTube video. It turns out I hadn't deleted the old clip, as I had thought two weeks ago. I've been having this problem ever since I installed AVP2.

After I set it back up using P2P I noticed it was working correctly.

I prefer IP mode so figured I'd just have to live with it. Then yesterday, I deleted my NVR from AVP2 and added it again in IP mode. Notifications now work where tapping on one takes you to the event list.
