So only thing that I can think of now if all other cameras even 1 Wifi camera that is on same Ap as the ASH47 is that maybe you are using a different Password for the ASH47? If that is the case it might be a password that the NVR don't like..
I don't know, I can reset back to factory my ASH47 and setup on my NVR in less then 4 min.. This is using Smart Home app to setup the camera and then after that the camera is back online using the same password that I have it setup for, The camera would come back online. Yet if I removed it from NVR and doing a factory reset of the camera it will take about 5 min to get it added back into the NVR..
Only difference is that I am using Ethernet for connection to my ASH47 so there is less to do when setting up.
If you are in fact using the same password as your NVR and you are entering it correctly when setting up the Camera last thing is that the connection quality form the camera is not very stable and maybe adding the extra connection to it from the NVR turns a Ping rate loss worse then when you last tested and so the camera is never able to connect..
Very strange

Re: None of my Cameras Record
Well, the password thing is hard to check. There is not anyway that I know of to check the ASH password. I set it to the same password that I use on the 941 cameras. If somehow the password got changed there is no way to check it. I never have to enter a password to bring up the ASH in Smart Home. My ASH is installed outside under a deck. It is a real pain to get it down. If I could rotate the camera enough to reach the reset button I wouldn't have to take it down. Would manually rotating the camera cause any damage?

Re: None of my Cameras Record
Want to know if your ASH47 is working with the correct password?
rtsp://admin:password@IPAddress:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0&authbasic=64
You would need VLC or another program that you can run RTSP feeds with. VLC is best all around for many reasons..
Anyway enter your password and the IP address in place of the words and if you have the right password and IP then the feed will load and look like mine in the picture below.. This is using VLC..

Re: None of my Cameras Record
No you will not damage your camera if you move it to get to the Reset button that is on the head. Have to do that with the ASH21 as well.. I personally don't like it but that is how I access, Next I move it with the app to the point I can get to the area, Then I move just the little that is needed to access the button for Reset.. Good news is that the Button is external so don't have to remove anything to reset the camera just push the button..

Re: None of my Cameras Record
IN VLC click on Media at the top left, Then click on Network Stream, Then copy that RTSP url above into the box area, then change the password and IP to meet your needs. Press enter and if the password is correct it will pop up a feed, if not it will pop up a box that ask for a good password.. I crossed out my password but should look like this.

Re: None of my Cameras Record
OK, I have used VLC and RTSP to successfully get a view of a camera. But it is for a camera that has a green status button in the NVR. None of the passwords I tried with the ASH work. I tried three different passwords that I thought had been used in the past. I guess I will have to do a factory reset on the ASH.

Re: None of my Cameras Record
Keep in mind that you will want to remove the ASH47 from your SH app and then do the reset, Then setup the camera again. I took note of the SN of the ash47 when I did mine and pasted it back into the setup so I didn't have to go out and scan the device code that would require me to take it down.. Once you add back to the SH app then you can add it to your NVR.. Use same Password as your NVR as long as the passowrd you used can be used in the SH device, Not all specials work in both type devices..

Re: None of my Cameras Record
I can't seem to do anything right! I did the factory reset (The ASH told me it was resetting.) But I can't get past connecting to the ASH hotspot. My Samsung tablet will not connect. It has always connected to both the AD110 and the ASH47 in the past. I finally got connected by standing about three feet below it. But when I went to the next step, it lost the connection. I am quitting for the day.

Re: None of my Cameras Record
I tried doing a reset on the ASH several times today. I tried power down, power up then the hard reset with no luck. In tried with my tablet 3 feet from the ASH, no luck. Connection to the hotspot fails every time. I guess the ASH WIFI has failed. Do you have any suggestions?
