Don't get me wrong I love my Amcrest NVR. I understand what a mosfet is but most end consumers buying these NVR's have no clue what all of this stuff is. I thought about buying a dual channel external relay but I think I'm going to get them separately. They should be able to handle up to 7 amps output but I doubt I will ever use anything that high. I'm only looking at my siren, strobing 12v lights and an mp3 playback module. Since I'm going to wire them to a 4-8 gang led rocker switch panel or box, I may only use Alarm 1. That gives me independent control over each output device.
Now if Amcrest wants to release an add on box as an accessory and 100% certify it and protect it with warranty....for Alarm 2 using CTRL and P....I'm first in line!!

I agree, I suggested the MOSFET solution because I was unsure of your exact goal and thought that, since you're familiar with electronics, my approach might help others who can use similar techniques. I also mentioned another solution for those with NVRs that support RS485, who might need more than the two outputs already available. While I initially shared my setup with an alarm output board having only one relay, I later removed it. However, I posted it on my forum for anyone interested.
During testing, I discovered that even though the board has space for an additional relay, there was no connection between the relay output pads and the wire block, meaning simply adding a relay wouldn’t work without further modifications. I shared photos on the forum, allowing others to reference the datasheets for the relay, the quad differential comparators, and the TPS25924X e-fuse. I also provided detailed instructions about the MOSFET I used, including how it works and its connections.

So would be interested in seeing the inside of your 4232-16P-E1 this is inside my Amcrest 5232E-16P and at the Push block you can clearly see 2 relays and it does have C1 NO1 C2 and NO2 printed on back.

Here is how to hook in a 12v led switch with relay to Alarm 1 and a 100% working and safer method to convert Alarm2 from an NC to NO relay. For the photo sensor on Alarm 2 just insert the sensor into one side of a heat shrink tube and an led into the other side and heat. That between is a mini step down buck converter. You could optionally put both outputs onto a screw down terminal off Alarm 1 and say you were expecting USPS or UPS then you disable the outside siren but leave the continuous buzzer inside your home active. This also gives a fail safe in case the siren stops working.

I'm waiting on some more push button led switches for the bottom row of my control panel. I put up a sign in the front of my property and the red and green will indicate the status of my perimeter alarms to UPS, USPS etc. I had a pcb prototyping breadboard that has 2 rows a and b and they are bridged so I set half as green and half as red snipping the legs off 3.2v led's even so that any led goes out it can be replaced.

Will be looking at your schematic later to see if I can get that working. I don't have any mosfets but have most other components like zener diodes, caps, resistors etc. It's helpful to me anyways as I can understand most of it.

My thoughts with this was normally speaking at night I would only have the red led's active at my sign. So the red control panel switch would be illuminated as on but the green one would not. The first 2 blue ones are Alarm 1 and Alarm 2. I'm thinking I wake up fuzzy eyed in the middle of the night and see red and blue and hear my siren blaring....I'm thinking cops....security....they may not be here but I may need to call them!!

It makes a difference when you have a monetary switch handy to simulate what's happening with CTRL & P which is a Normally Closed Relay.
So the 12v photo sensor is not necessary. DISREGARD ALL OTHER POST BY ME RELATED TO ALARM 2.
It's not possible though from what I'm seeing to put both Alarm 1 and Alarm 2 on this and be able to control both with manual on / off switches. The problem is you'd be shutting the power off to the 2nd switch no matter what order you wired them in. So it's better to get 2 single relays if you have an Alarm Block like mine with CTRL P as Alarm 2. It would also fit better into a small project box unless you intend to mount it on a din rail.

Yes but depending on the device. IF it says CTRL and P and not NO2 and C2 then there is going to be an issue even with a control circuit like you have posted a picture of. There is no dry contact relay in the NVR to make your device work. So that is why with a Mosfet and a relay you can control even a larger output device then what would normally be supported on the little Micro relays that are in the NVR.. While the last picture I offered was from my 5232E-16P NVR.. The other pictures show the E1 and it only has 1 relay and an empty spot where the second relay was normally on a different model that uses the same alarm board.. Because the output of 2 contacts are a low 12v current circuit that is why it will work with a Mosfet setup
