I am currently using firmware v4.000.00AC000.0 Build Date 2021-08-19. There is an updated firmware v4.002.00AC000.0.R.220722. Does anyone know what changes were applied, since there is no available change log? Would I lose any support for third-party cameras with this update?
I am aware to the previous firmware update that eliminated motion detection support for third-party cameras and would prefer not to lose any functionality.

Don't have the nvr, however I would personally try new update seeing if it won't work as you want it can go back to older fw offered, it's older machines with 2018 or older fw rhat once going to 2019 or newer you can't go back. Just an idea.

The last update for me changed the way the Zero Channels works. More then just a Tour monitor. If you don't use dual monitor then not sure what the update would do.
Did you update your machine? Or did you leave the 2021 fw on it? There is no lose of 3rd party cameras. Only issue I have ever had with the NVR is working with an Amcrest PTZ lol. The IP2M-850EB connects without issue just not able to use PTZ functions of the Camera. Yet the camera works on all the newer DVR/NVRs I have connected them too.. I mean even my Hikvision, and Alibi PTZs and zoom cameras work with my 5232E-16P machine just not that 1 Amcrest camera..
