I was using it for a few weeks but in the past few days, it just stopped working. It says that the app keeps stopping. I guess that means crashing?
This is the one I have installed on my Android phone:

Re: Issue with Amcrest Surveillance Pro - Video Streaming but not visible (IP2M-841B)
I finally got my camera's to show!! Here is how I did this: First off, I am using Linux Mint 22 so I had to use wine to run the amcrest pro software. I was originally using Bottles and running the latest version of the Amcrest Pro which is 64 bit. I could NEVER see the cameras with this method as I ...

Thank you for replying! I believe I was doing that. I was set to admin but none of the camera's were showing. I finally got it to work, see my post below:inetuser09 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2024 6:41 pm I had the same issue and got mine working by running Amcrest Surveillance Pro as administrator.

Re: Issue with Amcrest Surveillance Pro - Video Streaming but not visible (IP2M-841B)
I'm having the exact same problem the original poster did. I am running the Amcrest Pro in wine on Linux Mint 22 and everything works except the camera's aren't visible. Says "Searching Video" and no picture. It is running in the background, I can see the numbers in kb of it downloading an...

Re: Motion detection for day and night
Any of you guys actually try walking in front of the cameras as a test? I did the other day and couldn't believe it, it NEVER triggered! They go off if a bug fly's near them, a car drives by, steam from a dryer vent will make 'em go off but walk right up to it and NOTHING! I've tried a ton of differ...

Re: Stop with the plugins already!
I have no luck with Firefox, if I try to view recorded video, it just locks up (not responding) I have to use IE and even that sometimes will do the same. Amcrest pro is quirky. I had it set to log in automatically and I start having the start up screen hang and keep flashing. That stopped when I un...

Hit or miss motion detection
This motion detection feature is a joke. I've tried so many combinations on the settings and have basically gotten nowhere. I actually walk right in front of the camera and it doesn't even trigger it. This morning I walked in front of one camera, got in my car and backed out of the shot and it never...

Re: IE 11 Crashes on DVR Playback
Seems to be working quite well with the pro version you gave in that link. First day I had a few quirks but seems to be ok since then. The browsers are still crashing, Firefox being the worst. Hoping this may be fixed in the future but at least I can use it.
Thanks,
Bob

I don't see any help icons but have downloaded a copy of a "competitors" system that is similar. (searching Lorex DV700 will find it on google) Their manual actually shows you how to do things so if anyone else is having trouble, check that out.
