Re: Settings keep getting lost - anyone found a solution?
Melvin, sorry but did you not read my post? I am not using cloud services, I even put that in bold - I am NOT using the cloud. This has been said countless times on your forum, it is impacting people who are not using the cloud services. Are you working on this? Sorry to be blunt but I'm fed up with...

Settings keep getting lost - anyone found a solution?
Hi, There's quite a long post in this forum about different settings having to be continually updated by users as they keep getting 'lost' somehow. I have a Pro HD with the latest firmware and it keeps changing my resolution to VGA, I'll change it and it will stick for a few days - only to eventuall...

Re: IP2M-841B Settings keep getting lost
The problem I have is my resolution keeps changing. Under Setup->Camera->Video the resolution keeps switching to VGA, I have to go in and change it back to 1080p. I haven't found any kind of trigger for it doing it yet, I just have to keep going in occasionally and checking it. Really annoying! Matt

How I got the app to work externally
After receiving the camera at the weekend I was not able to access it outside of my internal network, I spoke to support yesterday and the below worked for me. I have the 1080p (IP2M-841). The document I followed was the Quick Start Guide: https://amcrest.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/206...

Hi Melvin, is it really likely there is something wrong will all our settings? You can see how many people are having problems with it working remotely..

Re: Failure to Connect... again. Wi-Fi & P2P
Hi Dnanew, I've just been speaking to their support. They told me there isn't any problems on their side. I did point out others were having similar problems and reported so on this forum. They suggested I try port-forwarding. I might have a play tonight but not really sure how to do that so I'm hop...

Re: Trying to contact support
Can I ask what issue you're having Matt if you don't mind? Just wonder if it's the same as mine.
One other thing, I also mailed them and they have just responded to that so perhaps try that?
cheers,
Matt

Re: External access - who has it working?
Also, I spoke to their support earlier who said their P2P server was working fine - do any of you that have been using their cameras for longer than me agree with this? I'm still unable to connect outside of my network.

Hi Swoop, I called them earlier (but I'm from the UK) - are you using one of the numbers from the below:

Thanks,
