I was having the same connectivity issues with these cameras. I noticed the antenna and antenna port on the camera both have a center pin. When screwed in, the pins cannot occupy the same space, so they bend, causing a poor connection.

Push notifications have stopped working too on my iPhone as well as my sister's iPhone.

Seven months later and this issue still isn’t fixed.

I have the same issue. I replaced my Foscam cameras with these. The Foscams were far better at detecting motion IMO. I would have thought the Amcrest and Foscam cameras were technologically the same since they are basically the same company.

When you go into the app’s Help/About screen, what version does it show? Mine is showing 3.40.0066 even though I just installed it.

I receive video playback with notifications through the app on my iPhone, but I am also connecting the View Pro app to an Amcrest NVR with hard drive.

I have six Amcrest cameras connected to an Amcrest NVR (NV2108). I use the Amcrest View Pro app (iOS) to connect to the NVR. I can see the six cameras and their names as the channel names. However, if I close the app or leave my local wifi network, the channel names default to Channel 1, Channel 2, ...
