Re: IP2M-841 reboots 19 times during one hour each day
Updating post: Camera appears further degraded. Now, I am unable to "see" the camera from the IP Config software. Also, I cannot log into the camera through http://ip.address. However, the camera still responds to pings from another host on the same network segment. And the camera continue...

IP2M-841 reboots 19 times during one hour each day
Hello - I recently began experiencing a strange problem with one of my IP2M-841 cameras (all of them are running latest firmware, and problem did begin immediately after applying updates). Every morning between 1:00 and 2:00 am, the camera reboots itself 19 times in the span of one hour. I have simi...

Pairing multiple phones/Amcrest View Clients with same camera(s)
Hello ! I need to install four IP2M-841 and IP2M-842 cameras in a property. The owner and I both want to be able to view live streams from the cameras on our iPhones (presumably using the Amcrest View Pro client. Is this possible, and if so, what is the best method? I read in an older posting that P...

Firmware Upgrade for IP2M-842: Any ETA ?
Hello!
I upgraded all my IP2M-841 cameras to latest firmware. The .mp4 recording default is great and saves me having to convert it from .dav.
I also have several IP2M-842 cameras. Do you anticipate providing a similar firmware update for these models, and if so, when?
Thanks,
Darryl

.backup files ?
Hello ! Just applied the most recent firmware for my IP2M-841 cameras (V2.420.AC00.15.R.20160908) and read the change log. I think it's great that the recordings default to .mp4. I haven't tried playback on a Mac or PC yet, but will soon. In running the directory structure that is now produced, I no...

Re: Filenames ending with "_" (underscore) ??
Quick note about my config; I'm not using FTP. I'm going direct to FreeNAS NFS share. Problem seems to happen only once per camera instance. I've written a script which evaluates file names and caught the problem. I'd be happy to work with your support team on diagnostics and field testing; if you'd...

Filenames ending with "_" (underscore) ??
Hello ! I have been using IP2M-841 cameras recording directly to NAS (a FreeNAS machine). All works very well, except I notice occasionally that files written do not always end in the expected file types (.idx, .dav and .jpg). Processing records from four cameras resulted in two records from each ca...

Re: Simultaneous Recording to SD card and NAS
Thank you for the explanation. I'll sacrifice immediate playback for secure write to my storage server.

Simultaneous Recording to SD card and NAS
Hello - This question may have been asked before, but I couldn't find an asnwer, so will ask again. Is it possible to allow simultaneous writes to both the SD card and the NAS? I am presently recording several IP2M-841 cameras directly to a NAS. These cameras also have an SD card onboard. I believe ...
