Re: how to set sensativity for rain drops
agree. if you make your camera insensitive to motions such as snows and rains, it will ignore everything else. There seems no way to avoid shade change, as well as noise pixel change. Not sure about other brand's performance. After getting two amcrest (one indoor and one outdoor), I've decided maybe...

Re: IP2M-841B Settings keep getting lost
for this model after upgrading firmware it needs to be reset. and you cannot import formerly saved setting. and make sure it's not on amcrest cloud. The only problem I still have is that it does not automatically delete files older than X days even if I set so. By the way I do not set up the camera ...

Re: Why do I get a notification when switching to night mode?
pixel changed so you got motion detection. The problem with consumer level cameras are they are not video analytical. enterprise level cameras has a dedicated function to write software to analyse video to ensure only wanted movement is captured. Google avigilon you will get an idea how much those c...

Re: IP2M-841 Motion detection no longer working
other than a hardware failure it sounds like a cloud problem. amcrest cloud tends to over-write all your camera's local setting so if the setting on the server somehow twisted you will experience problem. I've ditched the cloud service since then and record everything to my NAS. Not a single problem...

Re: Cloud Motion Record
I suspect it is amcrest cloud's problem. I have another model and lost motion at some period also. I always reboot to resolve this. Now I ditched the cloud service and record everything to my NAS. so far so fine just unable to view events on cloud. and smart play is so-so.

Re: sensitivity and threshold with regions
Hey I'm not sure if you guys are using Cloud service. This cloud service is the problem of many things. many settings tend to go back to default or overwrite by the cloud. I've now ditched it. delete my account completely. so far haven't found my settings change. The cloud is still convenient, too b...
