Re: NVR 4108 with 3 Amcrest IP2M-841B cameras - No audio
I have the NVR 4011 and I get no sound either in liveview or preview. But if I export to a video file .DAV and play it with Armcrest Smart Play, then I get sound though not that great. Maybe it is because the mic is facing the window.

Re: HD-CVI 1080 4CH kit vs recording specs
I connected all cameras and exported each recording. All are at 1080P @ 30FPS.
Good, I can keep it.

Re: HD-CVI 1080 4CH kit vs recording specs
I exported a recording for one camera into a DAV file. Opened it with Amcrest Smart Play and exported it to an AVI file.
With VLC, I get the following information saying it is 1080p @30fps. I will plug other camera to see if it holds true for 4 cameras.

HD-CVI 1080 4CH kit vs recording specs
I received a 4ch HD-CVI kit at 1080p. The DVR is a AMDV1084-4B-W. Purchased it at Amazon.ca https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B011CS0OIQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 On the packaging, the specs says: Record Rate, main streams: 1080P(1-15fps)/720P/960H/D1 (1-25/30fps). On the front ...

P2P network traffic
Hi
When a camera or NVR has P2P enabled, does it create significant traffic on internet to reach the p2p server.

NVR 4011 - IPC External Alarm
Would like some precision about IPC External Alarm. Is this related to cameras that have an Alarm input like the tpz HD 1080P or 720P. That would be interesting if that is related to camera alarm input, to configure the NVR to record a short video of each camera, on a ftp site when the alarm of one ...
