The cameras mentioned in my previous posts are AMC cameras. I am also having this problem with most of my ASH cameras, except one which is an ASH21-W-V3. I don't see any way to change the encode mode setting on these in the ASH app and they are not accessible in the web browser.

Update. I just checked the encoding mode on the affected camera and it was set to H.265. I changed it to H.264H and now it works fine. No idea how it got set to H.265 since I have never changed that setting on any of my cameras.

I am having this black screen problem on Windows10 using the old version of ASP. This just started happening recently. It is happening with all of my cameras except one, an IP3M-943W. My cameras are all hard-wired ethernet connected. The video has audio playback, but black screen.

This is exactly where I usually end up with these incredibly unreliable and flaky Amcrest cameras because the support is often so exasperatingly laughable.
