Chimekit is wired fine. It isnt that difficult. It was working fine for the first week, then all a sudden it just started going crazy with continuous chimes. I have had to remove the Amcrest Doorbell and put the old push button back on in order to have a working doorbell. I have emailed tech support...

After installing the diode, the doorbell started constantly going off without any button pushing. This was highly annoying so i removed the diode. Now the wiring is back to normal as originally installed BUT the doorbell STILL constantly goes off without the button being pressed.... so clearly somet...

Amcrest Video Doorbell, once i follow all the instructions and turn power back onto doorbell, the chime CONSTANTLY goes off. I hooked up the old push-button doorbell and it works fine. I have a 16v-30AC transformer, so power isnt an issue... but anytime i hook up the two doorbell wires, it starts ch...

Amcrest Doorbell Not Activating existing chime
Anyone know how to get my doorbell to chime the 2nd chime? Beforehand, i had a resistor in the bell that allowed the current to flow to the doorbell chime long enough to get the "ding" and "dong". Now with the Video doorbell, it cuts it off halfway through. Im using a 16v 30VA do...

You and me both, buddy. My doorbell only chimes half the tone and then gets "shorted" out as you state. Before i had to have a tiny metal resistor that would allowthe 2nd chime to hit. I have no idea how other digital chime installations are working for people. I have read all the forum to...

Same here. I JUST BOUGHT the camera and installed it. Now the app constantly logs me out. Very frustrating.
