Re: IP8M-2496EB-28MM and POE Injectors

Thanks for the replies.

So provided the Injector conforms to the 802.3af standard, I won't have any issues, or need to know of any other things to look for?

IP8M-2496EB-28MM and POE Injectors

Hey I have my IP8M-2496EB-28MM connect to a BV-TECH SW501G POE Switch (802.3at/30w) and it is working fine. Yeah I would be interested to try a 256gb or 512gb, I would be quite happy to write to SD card forever if it could take them, not wanting to run the risk though.

Is anyone able to answer Q1? That seems like the next logical solution, 512gb USB drives are quite reasonable.

IP8M-2496EB Destination Storage Question

At the moment I store all my footage to the onboard SD Card. It obviously over-writes when full. Q1. If I select FTP or NAS as the destination, and set it up accordingly, will the camera act similarly, over-write files on the device when it is full? Ideally I want to get a 512GB USB Stick - and plug...
