Re: Ptz repair not as easy as I thought

High performance chainsaws are my specialty. The only 4-strokes I work on are my own beaters...., frequently. LOL

A carb kit for that Kohler should be easily sourced given the model and tag number(s). Probably run around 20 bucks for OEM.

Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Re: Ptz repair not as easy as I thought

That is a very generous offer, but could you twist my arm just a bit more? LOL I'd be more than happy to put it to good use and have any number of locations for it. I'll make it work one way or another and happily pay shipping of course. Was coincidentally going to let you know about running across ...

Re: NV4108E-A2 - Email test fail issue

Problematic is clearly an understatement when it comes to setting up email alerts. I gave up and just add the NVR camera of interest to Blue Iris and use Pushover for alert notifications. Ridiculous to need such a workaround, but works great.

Re: Amcrest cameras not syncing time with NTP server

I can not get them to sync to an NTP server. Any possibility that port 123 is not open from your camera network to the outside world? Depending on your general LAN setup, and if you're a Windows user, you could try time.windows.com for your time server and see if you can sync things that way. I sta...

Re: Very poor colors on ASH-43

Set up a good one and compare each of the bad ones side-by-side to it one at a time. If they exhibit the poor color by comparison as described, hopefully they are still under warranty and can be replaced without issue.

Good luck with Amcrest support.

Re: Reolink 811A Shuts Down 4108-HS

Thanks for the input. I ran across the following over on Reddit. In a nutshell, this is basically what was happening; (or more accurately, not happening.) The thread ended with nothing conclusive being determined, and not surprisingly, very little input. In my particular case, reverting to the previ...

Re: Reolink 811A Shuts Down 4108-HS

OK. So pretend this is an Amcrest 4K H265 camera that's doing the same thing with a 4108-HS -- wiping out the display with panel block tearing/skewing and a green/gray screen.

What would cause this?
