Re: Still Unsure About Multiple Settings For What And When To Record

I put high-quality SD cards in them, but only 256GB each. My server has 2TB for each camera, and I save the H265 1080p stream. None of it is life and death, but it does give me a little peace of mind. I am very grateful to you for helping me out!

Re: Still Unsure About Multiple Settings For What And When To Record

I had just turned on email because I had been unable to get it working for over a year. I turned it off soon after making this post for just the reason you mentioned :)

As for the recording settings, does that look appropriate for what I am hoping to accomplish?

Still Unsure About Multiple Settings For What And When To Record

I started by reading this thread . However, as with many things IPC-related, I am still unsure. I am using two IP5M-B1276EW-AI cameras and one IP5M-T1277EW-AI. My footage is saved to a server and snapshots and video (if the server connection fails) to SD cards. My goal is to simply record everything...

Re: Email That Will Work With IP5M-B1276EW-AI & IP5M-T1277EW-AI

I do use the app push for events. There are some other things in the web settings that appear to only be able to send an email (or at least they are not listed as push items in the app). That is too bad about the email providers. I had the same thought you did. Amcrest should provide an email server...

Email That Will Work With IP5M-B1276EW-AI & IP5M-T1277EW-AI

Can anyone recommend a free or cheap email account that will work with my IP5M-B1276EW-AI and IP5M-T1277EW-AI cameras? I have tried my Google, Apple, and Outlook accounts and none of them will work. My ISP does not provide an email account. I can get the configuration to save via the web interface, ...

Re: DC Jack Rubber Plug

I assumed they were not particularly needed as there are thousands upon thousands of cameras out there without them. It would be a nice touch though. It is good to hear they hold up over time. Thanks!

DC Jack Rubber Plug

I had Annke cameras, but returned them because Amcrest was recommended to me on the Blue Iris Reddit for features, quality, and compatibility. So far I am impressed. The Annke cameras did not appear to be poorly built, but these Amcrest cameras (2 × IP5M-B1276EW-AI and 1 x IP5M-T1277EW-AI) are very ...

Biometrics Support For Amcrest View Pro Android App

The Android version of Amcrest View Pro has a password option, but no support for biometrics. It would be nice to use a thumbprint instead of entering a password every time.
