This is especially useful information for most GMail subscribers, since Google decided to eliminate the "Allow less secure logins" option that is *still* referenced in Amcrest's online documentation nearly two years later. Granted, some Google accounts (created under the Google Apps suite)...

Does it help if you first click on "EJECT", under Setup > Storage > Destination > SD Card?

I read somewhere else on this forum about the need for powered speakers (and/or microphones) for this purpose. Sorry I cannot provide a direct link to the thread!

Are you using any of the permitted DDNS services?

And does the http://[Username:Password]@IP:37777/cgi-bin/snapshot.cgi address ever work outside of the webpage environment (i.e. just by entering the URL in your browser's Address bar directly)?

Look under your Android device's <Local Storage> ► snapshot folder.

Do you have your camera's Web View > Setup > Storage > Record Control > Disk Full option set to "Overwrite"?

Totally second this request! I spent 30 minutes dealing with the SMTP setup screen not realizing the problem was Amcrest set the firmware /not/ to accept a plus sign (+) in email addresses. Check the spec! There's zero reason to block legitimate addresses that customers wish to use.

Isn't that expected behavior, for the first few seconds after you power up any PTZ Amcrest IP camera? Or are you suggesting it does the half-turn and stays that way forever? What color is the light on the back of your unit? Flashing or steady?
