Well I had it all setup and working well yesterday after the factory reset. This morning it's back to not reporting motion. One thing I noticed yesterday is it lost the motion zone configuration. The only way I was able to get it back was go into surveillance pro and set it up from there then it started working in the smart home app again. The weird thing is the enabled zone squares are shifted several squares to the right in surveillance pro compared to the smart home app. Also the sensitivity is different and doesn't carry over if you change it one app the other app still has where it was set. Maybe I shouldn't use surveillance pro. I still have not heard back from Amcrest on my first case and have generated another.

@Lenb55 you can use surveillance pro only to view the ad110 but do not mess with any of the configuration from the surveillance pro. if you have already messed with any of the ad110 configuration from the surveillance pro, i suggest you first delete the ad110 from the surveillance pro, perform another factory reset on the ad110 and continue configuring it with the smart home app. then add the ad110 back in the surveillance pro only to view and to set recordings.

Yeah I thought about that so I did remove it from surveillance pro and did another reset and it has been working for 2 days now. I had surveillance pro installed for my 4k amcrest camera and saw the instructions on the amcrest site on how to add the AD110 to surveillance pro so that's why I originally added it there. I didn't see any warnings about not playing with the config from there but I won't do that again. The issue I still have is that I don't get the answer screen to accept a call when the doorbell button is pushed. I see the motion notification then the someone is at door notification and when I touch that it goes right to the smart home app. A few times I did get the answer screen and it worked but mostly I never see it. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I have a Iphone 10 with ver 14.1

I just got confirmation from Amcrest Support that the missing WDR option in 200922 will be restored in an update that is about 2 weeks out.
FYI - the WDR capability is still present in the AD110 just no option in the app to toggle it or adjust sensitivity. However, you can do this via the API now if desired.
This was apparently yet another unintentional change.
Does turning off call notification in 200922 via the SH app actually work now?

Wow! These guys have no clue how to develop software and use known software best practices to guarantee reliable and functional releases. No clue. Staying 702 for now. Thanks for the reports.

Thanks @tfarrell - I agree! Their source code management has been abysmal. How else to explain how subsequent new features of the app unintentionally reverted to how the UI was when it was first released?

I just can't seem to get the answer screen to pop up on my iphone reliably when the ad110 doorbell is pressed. I do get the notification pretty quick and the phone does ring but no answer screen. I have been working with support for several days now. The last thing they had me try was downgrading to firmware 191113 which I just did and it does appear intermittently now but mostly not. They wanted me to try this before they would rma it. Does anyone have any suggestions? If working correctly should the answer screen pop up automatically on the phone when the doorbell is pressed or do you have to hit the notification first? Other than that the camera works well and records nicely to the micro sd card.

I can't answer how iOS notifications/popups are handled. On Android, I can configure the doorbell press and motion notifications to have a different ring tone and whether to popup or not. It does not automatically launch the app for me unless I tap on the notification (firmware v200702). I can do that with Tasker though.

And how in the heck do you manually install a firmware? I've never seen that documented before, and didn't know if it was even possible outside of the SmartHome app.
Please describe the instructions you were given for installing an older firmware and if they sent the binary to you or were given a link.

They sent me a link to the bin file and also a link to install amcrest ip config. I installed the ip config program which found my camera on the network then clicked the update button and browsed to the bin file I downloaded from the link and installed the firmware. Of course now I am constantly harassed to upgrade. The phone still does not open the answer screen with the older firmware. I loaded the smart home app on my ipad and it works like I think it should on that with the answer screen popping up after the doorbell button is pressed. I hope I can upgrade back to the latest firmware without issues. It seems the smart home app doesn't like my iphone or the version software it has.
