Just off the phone with Tech “Support”. They confirmed issue on their end. No idea of resolution date.
Like some others, I can see my AD110 on Surveillance Pro, and my Amcrest NVR. So the issue is definitely on the app side. The doorbell disappeared from the Smart Home app overnight ⁉️, but I was having issues the last few days.

Waiting (impatiently) for some type of notification that issue has been resolved.

Of course, I tried to re-add the device, and got “Check Network” error, because their app is whacked.

After reading numerous post from earlier years, it seems this has been an ongoing issue. I dumped my Ring Pro in Sept when they removed the “mode” feature from my annual subscription, and placed the feature in a more expensive subscription with no notice. Thousands of Ring users left.

Never thought I would have issues with Amcrest since I’ve had cameras and a NVR for 4-5 years. Disheartening to say the least.

This has been down for 3 days now! I have installed Amcrest Smart Home devices in my home, several client sites, as well as family member homes. All are calling me with this issue of being unable to use the app, control camera lights, etc. When will this be fixed?

Here is the email response to my Tech Support ticket on this issue. (My opinion--they are clueless. I've had other problems in the past 2 years and their Tech Team has consistently been challenged, to be kind. More like incompetent.):

Response: Our R&D team is currently working to identify and resolve the network connectivity issue affecting devices. We will provide an update as soon as we receive more information from the team.
Additionally, to assist us in diagnosing and resolving the problem more effectively, we kindly ask you to provide some additional details:
Model Number: Serial Number: Phone Model: OS Version: Service Provider: Smart Home App Software Version: Region:

I thought these types of issues were done, since no problems for me during 2024, up until 3 days ago now. My dumb luck however, I ordered another SmartHome camera through Amazon several days before this latest App issue began. If not fixed soon, when delivered, the Amazon delivery will be returned immediately, and I will be done with Amcrest.

Interestingly, Amcrest is still currently taking orders for SmartHome driven products as I type this, KNOWING that their software app is not functional.
Under Ohio Law and probably everywhere else, this would be considered a Deceptive sale, KNOWING that their product is non-functional as intended. I have the consumer protection claim form filed out, in the que, ready to submit to the Ohio Attorney General if this doesn't get fixed soon!

Default settings:

That is assuming you did not change either of those during setup.

I was asked to supply that information as well, when I spoke to tech support.

Copy/Paste. That's the exact same response I got. No humans were involved in the generation of that email.
