But most cameras I have tried work with my NVRs from Amcrest. Now if your POE doorbell offers ONVIF then it should be fine on your Amcrest NVR and yes using the P2P to access the NVR will let you view your other brand cameras over the Amcrest NVR/Amcrest App.. Having total control and or access to Ai that might have on the doorbell wouldn't work unless it was Amcrest and or Dahua related.. The A2 is a Semi Ai NVR and will work with Amcrest/Dahua Ai cameras.
I am awaiting the NVR's arrival. Its out for delivery.

There is some AI on the doorbell cam, but even if not accessible via NVR I may be able to set it up either using its app(s) (App Guarding Vision or Hik Connect) or via its connection to BI. Even if not, it will fulfill all our needs.

THANK YOU!!!!!

Interesting I thought only POE offering right now was Reolink.. So would need to use Reolink app if that was the doorbell? But if Hikvision has POE Doorbell, interesting didn't know but I am always behind times anyway lol..

I found it on a thread about people with Reolink issues. Not a Hikvision product, AFAIK, sold by "Linovision"

Interesting. It is a Hikvision OEM.. Funny thing I have never heard of that brand yet said to be around since 2007 and 2015 in TX. Website kind of strange setup for a USA security camera company..

Anyway looking at the site really fast says with the use of Guarding Vision and the SADP app to turn on cameras these software are designed and owned by Hikvision and so if the have a POE that works on them apps it must have been built by Hikvision for them. IF they don't have other OEM or even Hik product might have been a deal that would maybe expire after a set time and others can get the product in their name after that set time? Plus kind of find it odd that they promote 2 names for USA and China but if you click on the link for the USA website it takes you to the China name and linked site.. Not something I personally like dealing with when it comes to buying products.. I like to feel like they are not just a moments click away from being out of business.. Why a different name if you are going to just use the China brand? Strange company..

I read also in their literature they offer rebranding of the doorcam to a customers need. So perhaps they are more of a wholesale rather than retail.

I have dealt with two people there so far, and they were both 'above and beyond' in serving me. Time will tell! Here's hoping for the best.

THANKS again for all you do.

Got my NV4116E-A2 and hard at work setting it up. All Amcrest cams work well. :)

Other brand results so far:

The Reolink ELC-520 showed up on a search, and is working also. The RLC-520A ... not yet. I remember when I got that pair of -520A , after getting the -520's and being so happy, that the -520A was much more of a PITA to set up and make work with BI. I forget WHAT the solution was. :(

I am going to see if I can get the old Axis 221's to work. They are on network, but did not show up in the search. Darn. The Axis 221 camera is ONVIF compliant, but I didn't use that to access them with BI. There may be menu settings to get them working in this environment. My BI program went bad today, so now the NVR is the main event.

Doorbell should be here friday. Here's hoping it will get onboard without a big fuss.

Update!

ELC-520 cameras are working well.

BOTH the ReoIink E1-pro cams are not only PTZ, but POS. To the market they go. I dont know if they were built on a friday or WTH... But they have been nothing but a headache from day 0.

Going to try to get the ELC-520 A. Yeah... Thats a BIG a... Cause they Should be ELC-520-PITA. Problems since day one. But... we got history. I gotta try.
