I noticed I could not access DVR from Phone App suddenly. At the DVR the local screen was displaying OK.
Then I tried the local login and it prompted me with the PASSWORD CHANGE screen I could not dismiss. I eventually figured out it had been reverted to admin factory reset PW so I was able to change it.
Had to appreciate the RED block means weak PW, ORANGE is minimum acceptable, and GREEN is strong.
Has anyone else had this happen spontaneously?

I had to change the PW for the viewer app on all my devices then. PCs, phones, Firestick
