I forgot my ip web access password

Hi,

I have an amcrest camera MODEL:IP2M-841B
I forgot the password to access to the Ip Camera Web Access page. It does not have a “Forgot Password” button.

Can someone help me please? How can I recover my password?

Hello and Welcome to the Forum..

The camera does in fact have a Reset button. IT is the same part as the LED.. IF you push on the LED you will feel it click like a Button and hold it for 5 or 10 seconds until the cameras LED turns off, I would hold it until it goes off then back on to red then blink a couple of times.. Anyway about 4 to 5 seconds after the cameras LED goes off and back on holding button for that 4 to 5 seconds should be complete reset. Then can use the app to setup if wanting it on Wifi. If you want to use on cable then can setup using IP Camera Tools from Amcrest..

Well another thing that I just remembered, At the time I was thinking it was only email passwords but the Amcrest Pro App 2 and 1 for that fact will show you the password used if you setup the camera some time ago in the app but have not used the WebUI for long time and forgot the password. The app you can see the used password. Bring up the app, Click on teh device, Then click on the top right icon, then device infomation top right icon click that, It will show the password in dots, click it and it will bring up the view eye. Click that eye it will show the password used in the app.
