Smartview for Mac

I have the 960h 8 channel system and I'm using SmartClient for Mac to review recorded footage. It seems that the Windows version is much more user friendly. For example, I have not been able to figure out how to zoom in on the timeline. On the Mac, you usually see an entire 24 hour timeline and it makes it very difficult to zoom in when you're only looking for a minute or two.

However, sometimes, the timeline zooms in on it's own but I have not been able to figure out how that happens. It is also not consistent.

Any help would be appreciated.

Also, in the online user manual, some of the screenshots are similar to the Mac version, but further down, the screenshots are of the windows version.
