kquinnell, did you ever find a resolution for your issue. I'm having exactly the same issue and have also pretty much tried all that is mentioned here without any results. Mine had been installed since Nov 2021.
I found a solution to the issue I was having:

DaveK: so you had to dismantle the AD410 and replace parts?

Yes. It was fairly easy to disable, but care has to be taken to remove the battery from the circuit board and you need to know how to solder to move the circuit board.
I was beyond the warranty period, so I didn't have anything to lose in attempting to repair it myself.

Yes it does. Also not a battery but there is a single capacitor in the AD410 and 2 in the AD110 that keeps the camera going when button is pressed.
This is complete unfair from the consumers perspective. What should last years fails right outside of the warranty period and instead being offered a replacement I am offered a discount. Just ridiculous.
The low quality component that was decided as supreme fails due to a poor decision in development stages. This should entirely be covered for a lifetime, unless the product is discontinued!

I hope the root cause analysis does not have to be 4 forum pages of posts to gain the trust that I gave purchasing the product.
I have done it once before for 4108e-hs - it was a nightmare to fight for just a refurbished replacement…fracking engineers smh

Doing any research at all on the AD410 should have immediately sent you running in the opposite direction.

Finding this thread was the best! Seen it early yesterday, bought the battery listed in the thread from Amazon and installed it all today. Took about an hour to dissemble, remove the old batter and solder on the new one.
AD410 is now back in business fully and not on the "next thing to throw out" list. I like little projects like this that test my abilities to troubleshoot and fix things based on research.
Keep up the great work guys and thank you!!
