Mine suddenly started working this morning. No rebooting. Iphone user. Sent Amcrest info they requested minus ip address. No response back from them since info sent.

Thanks Revo, but that's what's so bewildering about Amcrest...not only do you not know, but no one at Amcrest knows what the problem is, what caused the issue, or how it was resolved, it's bizarre. My notifications also resumed a couple hours ago. I've done nothing and did not reboot any devices...I have several in multiple locations and that would be difficult.

I have been monitoring this thread for exactly this issue.

iPhone + AD410 Doorbell

Notifications stopped working a few days ago and suddenly resumed this morning. I did not do any troubleshooting or modifications to try and rectify.

The Amcrest Smart Home app was collecting notifications within itself, but not showing them outside of the app.

I am going to speculate given that this issue was happening with Android and iPhone alike, and recent security patches from both Apple and Google, some discrepancy with Certificates and Amcrest causing this.

Let’s see if it sticks.

My indoor camera sent a notification this morning. But my doorbell cameras still wouldn't. I rebooted them and got a notification on one when Amazon delivered.

Thanks - I see I'm getting notifications again as well on iOS.

But something seems to be different... Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but I thought I used to be able to receive the call notifications without the push notifications for motion events. Now it seems once push notifications are off, no call notifications come through, even if that option is selected.

I need to keep human detection on for recording on my NAS, but I had hoped to only have call notifications come to my phone, letting the NAS give me human motion notifications.

Anyone else having notification issues? If I reboot my doorbell they start working again for an hour. Then nothing.

Not working for me, AD410 doorbell with Android 14, Pixel 7 Pro. Used to work. I have a ticket open with support.
