As of late Plugins such as NPAPI have lost support from many browsers. While a few browsers still support our NPAPI Plugin, we are currently creating a new platform for our devices. This platform should bring a great deal of compatibility with many browsers.

While we are creating and testing this new platform we do have other options and guides that will be quite helpful in getting you back up and running.



- Amcrest Cloud
The Cloud is a great place to view your IP camera's as It is accessible anywhere in the world! Amcrest Cloud also does not require the use of any plugins to function as well.
Along with other features, You will also be able to set up Motion Recordings within the Cloud, by doing so your camera will record any motion in its view. All this information will be stored and accessible within the cloud.

- Surveillance Pro
Surveillance Pro is a Desktop Software available for Mac and Windows that will allow you to view the live feed and playback recordings within your device, as well as change settings in many of your devices all in one place without the need for plugins.

- Blue Iris (Windows Only)
Blue Iris like Survalience Pro is a Desktop Software where you will be able to view and edit many settings within your devices. As well as access the live feed of your devices and see the recorded videos within your devices HDD or SD card.

- Browser WebUI
Other than using Internet Explorer and Safari 11, secondary browsers will also be functional for the web user interface such as Seamonkey, or Pale Moon 32-bit (you need 32-bit because the plugins are 32-bit) web browsers. Conversely, these browsers will require the use of a plugin similar to Internet Explorer or Safari.

(Please note Palemoon is currently only usable in 32Bit with our plugins. Palemoon is also only currently available for Windows and Linux)

For Mozilla Firefox Users

The latest update of Mozilla Firefox will be discontinuing the use of plugins which may cause issues with accessing the web user interface for your device while using Firefox. The plugin will affect the ability to view and playback, however, setting changes will still be available using this method on most devices. We are currently working on a more permanent solution to the issue but currently, we can offer these alternatives.

Reverting back to an older version of Mozilla Firefox (49.0.2) will resolve this issue and allow you to regain access to your devices WebUI.

For Google Chrome Users

Google Chrome users can also use the Google Chrome extension if they wish to access their device's web user interface. For more information on how to use the Chrome extension, I will provide a very informative article as well as an Instructional Video below.

What about Linux, please, re: IP4MP-1053EW. Accessing the camera with Google Chrome offers an app for which I'm grateful, but its usage initially results in "Resources are limited, failed to play video stream". After 10 seconds or so the video is viewable with excessive cpu usage on Debian9:

I have yet to get Surveillance Pro to function on any of my MACs and certainly it doesn't look or function anything like that youtube video. Mac support has been pitiful for a while and doesn't seem to be getting any better.
