I know this is touched on in a few other threads but none seem to be current.

I have 4 of the 4MP IP4M-1051 cameras and for months have been unable to use the email service for notifications.

I've tried my Gmail, iCloud and a third small-service email setups and NONE will pass the "Test" button. All FAIL.

Amcrest - what is going on? Other brands of cameras and other devices I maintain WORK!!!

I read having a MS Outhouse, err, Outlook account might work but that is not something I care to get.

Does anyone have SMTP email working for this camera model?

I am not sure where the issue is... One of the main things update for 2019 was so the systems would work with Gmail servers and work on google browser...

I wonder if maybe you have hit your Email monthly limit... Have 4 cameras that may get a lot of motion hits? I think and I could be wrong but I think there is 500 limit for email every day or month...

I have my own server for email seeing I have a Camera that has n o more updates to let gmail keep working for one of mine so I just broke down and got a domain and pay for hosting so I can get my email when I turn them on lol... Because after all the rain and snow and all the other things that set off an email I shut them off some times most only have them on when I am going to be away... Jeez one day I had over 300 emails and 8 might have been meaningful lol...

@Revo2Maxx - thank you for the idea but that won't be the case. I should have stated I have never setup any of my Amcrest cameras to email anything before. Plus I tried with 3 different email domains - one of which I seldom use.

I have now tried 3 different cameras the only reason I am setting email up right now: I took in a rescued feral pregnant female cat. She had babies and I put a camera in her area to watch the her and the babies. Then I shared access with some friends and family and hoped to get emails when a guest logged in.
