Access IP4M remotely
Access IP4M remotely
I'm trying to access an IP4M off network, it works fine when my laptop is on the local network. Remotely, I get a green light in Surveillance Pro, so it's connecting. I can even access settings remotely, but I can't get video working. I get message "Failed tp open video! You have no right to operate" I know the userid and password is correct.
Re: Access IP4M remotely
Hi rmayo,
How you added camera to the surveillance pro, P2P mode or IP Domain?
If its through P2P try adding IP domain mode by doing port forwarding , Please refer below link.

Re: Access IP4M remotely
P2P. It's odd since I can access and do everything except video. It's on a restaurant's wifi, I'll have to see if they will let me mess with their router. P2P is so much cleaner since you don't have to deal with the ISP changing the IP address.

In Amcrest Surveillance Pro, go to ACCOUNT and make sure users have Channel Rights to Liveview, etc. Click on user modify icon, and click on Liveview, etc. to see cameras and rights.
