Re: At witts end with Amcrest Pro HD IP2M-841 (Black)
if you have a dual band router issue... I don't know if this is how most routers are, assume they are... but mine has an SSID for each band of wifi. So I named the 2.4ghz band an SSID with a "24" at the end and the 5ghz band has a "5" on the end of the SSID.

1080Phard wired speed?
Does anyone have their 1080p IP cameras hard wired?
I am using mine via wifi and it gets choppy and DESTROYS my bandwidth. If the cameras are wired in, and my iMac is wired to the router, will the feed be better?

I wonder if your customers act like this, so you feel it's ok to act like this....
If you don't like the product, just get something else, the world doesn't coddle people. Running a business myself, I learned that pretty quickly, what's your excuse?

Re: help with motion tracking
I had a camera capable of doing this, it was $700+ and that was back in the mid '00's.
I never got it to work properly....
It's something these little cameras should be able to do, these days.
Amcrest should dev. something like that. Would be a neat feature.

Re: At witts end with Amcrest Pro HD IP2M-841 (Black)
Ok, so I figured it out. Seems the only way to connect through via IP address is when hardwired on Ethernet. At least now my device is updated, but how can I connect to the camera on my network through WiFi? Is that possible? Figure it's exactly like configuring a router through my network so...not...
