Re: Import/Export Configuration

Amcrest have responded and suggested that I do a hard reset of the camera which isn’t the point really as it is my configuration I am trying to save!

Re: Import/Export Configuration

I am unable to save the settings of my IP4M-1026E camera (as per these instructions: https://support.amcrest.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001102771-How-To-Import-Export-Camera-Configurations-In-The-Web-UI) and running Windows 10. I get an export failed error. A zero byte data file is saved to the file l...

Re: Is IP5M-T1179E the only camera model does not require plugin?

From the User manual, it seems IP5M-T1179E does not require plugin on the web interface and works with any modern web browser. Is it true?
I can confirm that this is the case.

Updating with Dahua firmware

Having just bought two new Amcrest cameras that I am told are discontinued and have no firmware updates I am considering options... Send them back? I would prefer not to as they work well but one of them (a IP4M-1026EW bullet) does seem to be more unreliable in terms of event snapshot capture and ha...

Re: IP4M-1056E Motion Detect, # of grids V. Sensitivity

“a High number in Sensitivity will require more movement for it to trigger a motion“ My understanding is that decreasing sensitivity will require more movement for a trigger as will increasing the threshold. That is how it works on my cameras. Anti-Dither settings allow you to set how long motion ne...

The Amcrest viewer app will work as will Internet Explorer. We really need a firmware update don’t we.

Re: Night vision causing camera to power off & on.

My NVR logs show that my Amcrest IP5M-T1179E lost connection for about a minute this morning. When I viewed the recording it had indeed changed from IR to non-IR mode.

Re: What are my NVR options for Amcrest IP Cameras?

Have you considered using a NAS to do this? In the long run having the ability to store and/backup files such as photos or music and access them remotely as well as as having Raid protected storage may give you a cost effective solution. Streaming TV or running a Virtual desktop is also possible.
