Re: IP Camera Suppliers
Hi
If you are willing to order from china Andy at https://amzn.to/2wunK9a is the best for Dahua. He just opened the shop on Amazon but everyone at https://ipcamtalk.com/ uses him. I also have gotten all my Dahua cameras from him, if in stock comes right away by DHL.

Shutter Speed
Is the image below where I would go to set a minimum shutter speed of 1/60 and a max of 1/500. and how does that relate to the numbers I would have to enter? I do not understand what 0~300 means.

Re: Outdoor camera options/suggestions
Do not buy a dome unless you are placing it under an overhang. Try to find a turret. Dahua would be best.

Re: Amcrest Cameras and Internet Security
I was always told never to open ports. I never had a problem but have since switched to a VPN.

Tec Support fixed it by going to wireless DHCP first, then going back to wired & static.

I am currently having the same problem.
Melvin : "It could be that the router or firewall is blocking the camera from outbond connections."
Then why are all the other cameras working?
