Re: Hello!
Hello and welcome to the forum. It might help to know which camera model you have got and also how you have tried to access what has been captured on the SD card. Speaking personally, I use Amcrest Surveillance Pro (ASP) but also the web user interface of my cameras. If you are going a step further ...

Just a matter of enabling P2P. Typically once into the WEBUI go to the network settings-TCP/IP-P2P, enable it and complete the required parameters (I have to admit I've only ever accessed my cameras whilst I was connected to my network so never had need or used it.)

Re: Converting to P2P for cameras IP2M, IP4M, and IP5M. (no access to QR codes)
Hello and welcome to the forum. As well as the information that you mention, no doubt you also have the IP address of each camera on your LAN together with the username and password. You should be able to access the WEBUI of each camera by entering the IP in the address bar of your web browser. You ...

Re: Disable WebUI Timeout?
I'm using VLC to access the RTSP feeds from the cameras i.e. in VLC Media/open network stream/open media and in network URL enter - "rtsp://username:password@192.168.1.97:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0" substituting the appropriate username and password and the IP address is f...

Re: Disable WebUI Timeout?
If you need/are using the full webui then it won't be timing out but if all you want is to monitor cameras then VLC is an excellent option. This was my screen a few minutes ago, I've got 4 cameras displayed in separate instances of VLC and Firefox is displaying a TV screen in PiP mode bottom right a...

Re: IP4M-1041 Web Interface, no audio
I agree with Revo2Maxx, if you have reliable access by another means don't worry about it.
I see a similar message if I use Firefox to access one of my cameras - The error message is very clear and if I use Edge or Chrome then there's no problem.

Re: Push Notifications suddenly ceased on ALL my cameras?!!
I am able to get notifications so far on AVPro 2 but I see no options in there for detecting humans and vehicles, this is very important to have this capability to ward off unwanted motion detect notifications. Hope they add it soon, this will do for the moment. Wait just found the SMD setting now,...

Re: How to zoom in on downloaded video
There must be dozens of possible answers to your question dependant on what exactly you need to do but one easy way to zoom the video whilst viewing it is to use VLC MediaPlayer which allows interactive zooming. The way to do it is described in this YT video https://youtu.be/jQRNGoC6LcY?si=o-IZSidOQ...

Re: SnapShot API
Welcome to the forum. I don't know about that particular camera but for me http://username:password@IPaddress/cgi-bin/snapshot.cgi returns a snapshot in a web browser. This also works for me within an app that I've built for my own use to capture/save a snapshot and then rename the file before expor...

Re: Router
Assuming that the new router allows you to make changes and isn't locked down then it's possible that you don't need to make any changes to your cameras at all and they will work as normal. You just set the router SSID, access password and IP addressing to exactly the same as your old one that shoul...
